REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Garfield County is requesting proposals (RFP’s) from consultants to Install and Maintain an Electronic Access Control System for all entries to the main court house and most interior doors as well as those located in the Garfield County Sheriff’s office. Garfield County’s current access is standard key lock on all doors. This new system would replace those allowing entry via security badge with the option of key code as well. This will allow for quicker, safer entry for all employees.
The consultant must be able to demonstrate extensive experience and technical knowledge with regards to electronic access systems and have the resources necessary to efficiently and effectively complete the work in a professional manner.
A more detailed description of the Courts current entry access can be obtained from the Garfield County District Court 509-843-1002 or Garfield County Auditor’s office 509-843-1411. Questions regarding proposals or scope of work may be referred to Katie Magill at 509-843-1002 or McKenzie Lueck 509-843-1411.
RFP’s will be accepted until Monday, July 10th, at 11:40 a.m. Proposals (2 copies) shall be submitted to or mailed to the Board of Garfield County Commissioners at P.O. Box 278, Pomeroy, WA 99347 and shall include at least 4 references whom may be contacted to verify experience and technical knowledge. The top 3 proposal qualifiers may be invited to give an oral presentation, after which one company will be selected in which contract negotiations will begin.
Prior to any contract award, background checks and security agreements will be required.
