Please contact Monica Bartlow at the WSU/Garfield County Extension. A copy of the Garfield County Fairgrounds User/Rental Agreement is in the rentals fee tab, as well as the rental prices.

Public Use of Fairgrounds

If you want to use the fairgrounds or arenas they are open to the public to enjoy, unless the fairgrounds is being rented for a private event. Please contact Monica Bartlow at the WSU/Garfield County Extension to ensure those specific areas are worked/maintained prior to your use. 2026 Garfield County Fair RV Site Drawing or Closed Bid Auction to get RV sites for the Fair, September 18th-20th, 2026

No lining up at the Extension Office door this year to get an RV Spot for the County Fair. There is a random drawing for 9 Spots. ONLY one entry per household. It is free to participate in the drawing but the drawn are required to pay regular price of $40.00 per Night. Payment will be due for the winners by June 15th.

This year we will be auctioning off two prime RV locations, RV Sites 1 & 2, for the 2026 Garfield County Fair. The same household cannot win booth spots. Minimum bids start at $150.00, bids ONLY accepted in $25.00 increments.

Please remember that RV hookups are for one RV, adding additional campers will NOT be tolerated. If you have questions call 509-843-3701 or come by the WSU/Garfield County Extension Office.

Open youth Livestock Registration

Open Hog Entry forms are due by June 15th, open Sheep, Goat, and Beef Entry Forms are due by September 1st. Forms need to be turned into the WSU/Garfield County Extension Office on 757 Main Street or mailed to PO Box 793, Pomeroy, WA 99347, or emailed to mbartlow [at] garfieldcountywa.gov (mbartlow[at]garfieldcountywa[dot]gov). A copy of the Garfield County Fair Open Youth Livestock Registration is in the forms and documents tab.

Rodeo Sign Ups

Sign-Up for all events, for the 2026 Garfield County Fair Rodeo, will be Tuesday, September 8, 2026 first come first serve. Sign ups will be closed when filled or at the latest closed , Tuesday, September 15, 2026 To sign up please call or text 509-389-8403.  The following are the events and registration prices for each event:

Mutton Busting (7 years old &  under)- $15.00

Goat Tail Tie (6-8 years old) - $5.00

Goat Tail Untie (5 years old & under) - $5.00

Calf Scramble (8-12 years old) - $15.00

Steer Riding (8-15 years old) - $25.00

Breakaway - $40.00

Team Roping- $40.00 Per person

Wild Cow Milking (3 people per team) - $10.00 Per Person

Bull Riding (16 years old & up) -$45.00

Pee-Wee Barrels (8 years old & under) - $25.00

Jr. Barrels (9-15 Years Old) - $25.00

Sr. Barrels (16 years & up) - $35.00

The 2026 Garfield County Fair Rodeo will be held Sunday September 20th at 1:00 pm at the Garfield county Fairgrounds in Pomeroy, WA. Payment will be CASH ONLY, and will be taken on the day of the rodeo, September 20, 2026, from 11:00-1:00.
