Public Works Director / County Engineer
Garfield County is seeking a Public Works Director / County Engineer to lead a department of approximately 15 employees overseeing engineering, roads, planning, building, recycling, solid waste, GIS, transportation infrastructure programs, and the finances related to such programs.
Salary: $125,000–$150,000 DOQ plus excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; Washington Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within six months; progressive public works, engineering, and management experience; valid driver's license.
